Dialect- Aaron, you are doing great with the southern (when it's not Irish ;)) Something that may help is getting someone to record your lines and listening to them over and over. Let me know if you want to do that. Be mindful of R's and Oh's. American's are way lazier with our vowels than most Europeans and the southern accent does use the jaw a lot. Placement would be the middle of the mouth and jaw rather than in the back of the throat, so think of throwing it forward. (like singing in choir, lips, and teeth not so much tip of the tongue :D |
